Who we are
This event was started to raise money for Veteran’s organizations that are having a positive impact in the surrounding areas.
It was started by Roger Hawkins and a group of rucking enthusiasts as a way to help give back substantially to a group of Americans they have the utmost respect for.
For the inaugural event, the two charities that will benefit will be the Semper Fi and America’s Fund and Veterans With Pets and Ralph Phillips VFW Post 291 has joined us as our primary sponsor.
The first $3000 in registration fees will be matched by Ralph Phillips VFW Post 291!

The event will start at Ralph Phillips VFW in Shelby in the back by the pavilion. The 10 mile route will take people around both city reservoirs and end back at the VFW for awarding of the event patches to those who finish.
There will be food trucks and a Howl-oween event honoring National Veterans Pets for Veterans Day happening downtown as well.
